Traditionally, most milling machines use emulsion coolant for machining. The coolant's role is to lubricate the cutting process, cool the workpiece and flush the chips from the work area to the chip conveyor. Unfortunately, this traditional lubrication and cooling method does have significant disadvantages. These can be overcome with the innovative cooling lubricant concept 'Mediumverteiler', if applied correctly.
